How to Feel Young

How to “feel young” isn’t one of those things you can learn from a double-blind, placebo-controlled scientific study (unfortunately) so we turned to New York lifestyle coach and counselor Karen Elizaga for advice. Play

“When was the last time you took a ride on a skateboard or played Scrabble or sang at the top of your lungs… just for fun?” asks Elizaga, who says that playful activity that’s not goal-driven, that is fun for fun’s sake, is critical for keeping us feeling young. “Sometimes you need to stop focusing on your to-do list,” she says. “Give your bike a whirl outside with no particular destination, hula hoop, dribble the ball around, and play games with your kids or grandkids.”
